I'm over the flu, but still nursing a broken toe (anyone have any advice on this beyond not walking for 6 weeks?)...took some pics yesterday of some of my new stuff, editing them today as well as hand-building some bowls. Feeling a bit blah...don't really want to be spending oodles of time on the computer.....

thank you....I'm afraid they're not....maybe I should stop calling them peasants? :)
I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong on etsy...I just bought a spot on a pendant showcase for may 22 that I hope helps. But I'm not feeling terribly motivated right now or, more to the point, I can't really stand looking at the things I've already made...as soon as I get them back from the kiln I'm ready to move on. My hearts not in promoting right now....

It's sometimes so hard to keep motivated. I'm lucky in that I have a "real" job that pays the groceries, so my "art" can just be a joyful diversion. But even then I sometimes get bogged down in discouragement. Does it help that I think your work is totally beautiful,and that the world is richer for it?

thank you, that helps immensely....:)
It also has helped a great deal, walking away from it for the last few weeks and getting stuck into the gardening and all of the odd painting jobs that have been sadly neglected for the longest time. I think I've re-charged my batteries a bit.
